We currently have an exciting opportunity available at the Club for a Chef/ Cook, who has a passion for food, a willingness to learn, is a team player and will excel in a busy work environment.

These roles can be full-time or part-time positions.
Duties and responsibilities include:
•Ensuring consistent delivery of food preparation
•Ensuring consistent cleanliness of work zone
•Working closely with our Head Chef and supporting them with all requirements of running the kitchen.
•Working side by side with our apprentices in their daily tasks.
•Ability to take leadership in the Head Chefs absence.
•Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety standards
•Weekend and Evening work
To be successful in this role you will have:
•Experience working within a commercial kitchen environment.
•Minimum 3 years’ experience
•You will be expected to perform various kitchen duties autonomously.
•Creativity and skill in the kitchen
•The ability to work under pressure but at the same time producing high quality dishes.
•A passion for creating great food.
•The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
•Great team-work skills and the ability to work positively with others.
•An understanding of the work health and safety considerations of working in a commercial kitchen
•Experience in fryers, grills & pastas
•Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings & public holidays.
•A friendly, personable demeanour with a willingness to interact with colleagues and customers
•Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude.
•Effective leadership skills with focus on staff development
•Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
•Excellent communication and time management.
