ClubGRANTS is one of Australia’s largest grant programs, providing more than $100 million in cash each year to a variety of worthy causes across NSW.
ClubGRANTS funding is available to community groups, charities, and sporting teams across NSW.
Category 1 | Applications for Shellharbour ClubGRANTS Category 1 funding will reopen from 1st March 2023. |

Assessed By | The Shellharbour ClubGRANTS Committee is made up of representatives from Wollongong City Council, NSW Council of Social Services (NCOSS), Family and Community Services and the local licensed Clubs. |
Eligibility | Eligible Category 1 expenditure is for projects and/or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community, and are aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people. Examples include community welfare and social services, community development projects, community health services and employment assistance activities. Notification | After the application process closes in April, The Wollongong ClubGRANTS local committee meets to review all applications and make recommendations for funding. Clubs then agree to fund particular applications either in whole or part fund the project with another club. Applicants will be advised if their application is successful or unsuccessful by the end of July. |
Category 2 | Eligible Category 2 expenditure is that expenditure allocated to community development and support activities and projects not listed under Category 1 and expenditure allocated to a club’s core activities. |

Assessed By | Your application will be reviewed by the Illawarra Yacht Club and Oak Flats Bowling and Recreation Club Board of Directors. |
Eligibility | The Oak Flats Bowling and Recreation Club Board of Directors will assess applications and determine the funding outcome. The Board will consider applications from any and all sources with the exception of political parties and Activist groups. |
