We are excited to announce Illawarra’s newest waterfront wedding venue at Illawarra Yacht Club. Recently renovated function room with stunning suites for the bride and groom, what more could you ask for? Located on the beautiful waterfront of Lake Illawarra, an easy drive from Dapto, Unanderra, Figtree and Berkeley or a 15-minute drive from Wollongong city centre.

We look forward to welcoming a new function and events team with a positive attitude and a professional approach to customer service within this role.

Do you have the experience, passion and love for weddings and events, find yourself passionate about maintaining a consistently high standard of service to guests, hardworking and reliable if so, we are looking for you.

The role will include:
· Providing service of food and beverages at a variety of events with carrying of multiple plates
· Delivering exceptional customer service skills.
· Assist with events from set up, and sequence of service right through to pack down.
· Maintaining floor cleanliness including table clearing, glass and plate collection.
· Liaising with the Function Manager, to ensure you have a thorough understanding of each event’s requirement.
· Working alongside other departments within the business to maintain a positive team environment.

What We’re Looking For:
· Flexibility to work within the requirements of the venue including weekends and public holidays.
· Current RSA
· Excellent communication skills and presentation
· Effective time management
· Highly motivated individual with exceptional wedding and corporate function experience.
· An outgoing personality who enjoys working with people in a professional manner
· Strong work ethic and positive attitude
· Mature manner and calm under pressure
· Excellent attention to detail and quality presentation
· Ability to multitask, problem solve, work under pressure.
· To always put your best foot forward for our guests and clients so they have a memorable experience.

Skills and Experience:
· Strong communication skills
· POS experience advantageous
· Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
· Experience with weddings/ events will be highly regarded.
· Excellent customer service skills
